The Mid Island Parkway - 1A project is a landmark infrastructure initiative that redefines mobility across Saadiyat Island. It strengthens the city’s transport framework through the integration of bridges, roadways, and essential utility networks, improving accessibility while supporting Abu Dhabi’s long-term urban growth strategy. Each component of the project reflects precision planning, advanced engineering, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Transforming the Saadiyat Interchange involved upgrading roads, structures, and modern MEP, ITS, lighting, and fire safety systems. Modern drainage, stormwater management, and intelligent transport systems ensure smooth operations and environmental balance. Advanced utilities, streetlighting, signage, ITS, and traffic control systems deliver smart and safe streets, while Section 1A works are fully integrated with the existing Saadiyat Interchange and Section 1B. This project demonstrates GCC’s commitment to sustainable, efficient, and community-focused infrastructure development.
