Role Description

We are seeking a Planning Engineer with 5–10 years of UAE experience in infrastructure, roads, and bridge projects to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing tender schedules, planning submissions, and technical presentations to support the bidding process.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Your tasks and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare tender schedules including baseline programs in line with project scope and requirements.
  • Develop and submit comprehensive planning packages for tender submissions.
  • Prepare technical presentations illustrating construction methodologies during the tender stage.
  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work to develop accurate project timelines.
  • Identify potential risks, constraints, and opportunities during the tender phase.
  • Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project duration and resources.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and provide planning input and clarifications.
  • Ensure all planning deliverables comply with client requirements and contractual obligations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in the UAE.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong scheduling and forecasting abilities using industry-standard tools
  • Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 & PowerPoint.
  • Analytical mindset with effective problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge of contract terms (FIDIC, turnkey, reimbursable, etc.)
  • Able to manage multiple interfaces and perform well under pressure
