About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator with proven experience in infrastructure/Building projects to manage the cost estimation process during the tendering stage. The role focuses on reviewing tender documents, performing accurate quantity take-offs, preparing BOQs, and developing cost breakdowns to support the preparation of competitive and compliant bids.

Key Responsibility:

Your tasks and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

  1. Study and review tender documents thoroughly.
  2. Prepare cost estimations based on BOQs and in-house calculations.
  3. Break down each BOQ item into core resources – materials, equipment, manpower, and subcontractors.
  4. Assess overhead costs considering project location, duration, and contract requirements.
  5. Analyze major material items and major subcontractors by preparing comparison sheets.
  6. Raise queries for any clarification or information needed.
  7. Finalize cost estimates and ensure timely submission.
  8. Estimate variation orders for the company’s ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Estimation for Infrastructure/Building

Skills & Competencies

Strong experience with construction estimating tools and software to prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs.
